And why wouldn't she be but if you guessed it's Bill Beilharz's momma then you guessed wrong. Oh I'm sure Bill's mother is proud too but this newspaper article from The Arizona Republic Cars.Com was sent in by the mother of crew member Kent Durkee and she even corrected a mistake when she wrote, "Also, a correction - Kent is the one in the middle without the hat, Tony is on the right." Hey, don't mess with a proud mom.
Funny isn't it... The last thing we would ever expect our mothers would have been pleased with would be seeing us on the cover of a newspaper describing the dangerous race we were in and how fast we drive. My mother would have sent me out to bring back a switch.
